Orientation, exchange, knowledge: First preview of the EVO NXT 2026 program
International experts discuss innovation, regulation, and market trends.
On April 17 and 18, EVO NXT in Prague will bring together international players in the NGP industry who are actively shaping the market: from political and regulatory decision-makers to industry and market analysts to specialized retailers. The focus is on concrete benefit for your own company: sound orientation in a dynamic, increasingly regulated market, direct exchange with relevant stakeholders, and access to reliable first-hand knowledge. EVO NXT therefore stands for a strong conference program, developed in close cooperation with powerful partners from politics, regulation, and business, creating space for dialogue that often get lost in day-to-day business. The first names have now been confirmed.
Dortmund, 4 February 2026 – The conference program brings together high-profile international voices from politics, regulation, industry, market analysis, and trade. Renowned experts from organizations such as the UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA), the Independent European Vape Alliance (IEVA), and the Nordic Nicotine Pouches Alliance (NNPA), as well as the Global Institute for Novel Nicotine (GINN) and Tobacco Europe, have already confirmed their participation. Well-known industry companies such as British American Tobacco (BAT) have also pledged their support. The program will be complemented by in-depth global market insights from TobaccoIntelligence and Euromonitor. The retail sector will also be prominently represented, including expertise from the European Confederation of Tobacco Retailers (C.E.D.T.) and relevant stakeholders from the local Eastern European market.
The hybrid event “Eyes on Brussels” will also continue this year. The interactive discussion, which connects speakers, participants on site, and those watching the live stream online, took place for the first time as part of EVO NXT 2025. Visitors were enthusiastic about the innovative format organized by Tobacco Europe, the European umbrella organization for manufacturers of tobacco and nicotine products. Listeners can expect an update on the latest political developments in Brussels and across the EU. On Friday (17 April), Nathalie Darge, Secretary General of Tobacco Europe, will be among those sharing first-hand information with EVO NXT participants.
Top speakers have already confirmed their participation
Speakers in the conference program include Aron Byrne-Carter, innovation expert at NGP Trends, and Jose Becerril, senior consultant at Euromonitor International, who has chosen the topic “Navigating the future: Innovation, regulation, and sustainability in the NGP era.” A panel moderated by Marc Reisner, editor-in-chief of Die Tabakzeitung and Tobacco Journal International, will focus on innovations and new product categories. Robert Casigne, editor-in-chief of pouchforum.eu, and Jonas Lundqvist, CEO of the NNPA, will address the regulatory challenges in the field of nicotine pouches. Rainer Krüger, co-founder of the European Cannabis Association, will talk about the market for cannabis vaporizers. And a representative from British American Tobacco will discuss Czechia as a role model for the regulation of novel products.
For exhibiting companies, EVO NXT offers a targeted platform for positioning innovations in the right context and engaging in dialogue with the relevant decision-makers. Visitors benefit from guidance, networking, and strategic knowledge that directly contributes to their own business decisions. EVO NXT thus remains a central meeting place for everyone who not only wants to observe the future of next-generation products, but also actively shape it.
